Wooden Wars: Wooden Soldier Project - Part 12: No sleep 'til Gen Con!

Fortune favors the brave- and gives them shiny things!

" Time is everything; five minutes make the difference between victory and defeat."

~ Horatio Nelson

Objective flags!

In less than 24 hours I'll be setting up the Wooden Wars games at Gen Con, and I promise you I've been quite busy in the hope of making this event the cat's pajamas!
Here's some new units I just finished up for the 8 scheduled, and who-knows-how-many, pick-up games I'll be running there.

Stalwart Reddish Army line lads

Officer uniform based upon Marshal Soult's ADC- and it matches the flag!

Reddish Army Grenadiers march towards victory!

Erm, the flag came from... a magazine freebie. Pretty cool!

For those of you that will be at the convention, my games' schedule and locations are below. I'll also have a limited amount of infantry, foot officers and rules in stock as well as "unit deals"  for sale at the Lone Wolf booth.

Look for my Wooden Wars signage or perhaps my 4-foot tall wooden soldiers will catch your eye!
Please stop by and at the very least say "Hi",  but better yet, take command of a unit, toss a few balls and vie for glory and fun... fun is good!   Either way there are medals to be won!

The guy in the middle is a standard wooden Soldier!
These are gonna be fun to paint

Fresh horses!
This weekend I finished up 2 cavalry and two infantry units as well as a plethora of medals and reinforcement coins, some flags, a beta version of the rules, etc.   All very exciting!  And on very little sleep!    Yea, Very-ly.

I need to make a trumpet and standard arm for these Fellows

4th Hussars for the Reddish army's left flank!

Hey, what about your Kickstart?
So many of you have been sending private messages and emails asking when my Kickstart is launching, and I thank you for that! I have submitted the Kickstart for review in hopes of launching it in tandem with Gen Con. As soon as I get confirmation, I'll get it launched - and the real fun begins!  Who knows - it could be as soon as tomorrow!

Reinforcement coins- who says you can't print money?

Secret Skull and Crown lab report!
In the meantime, here's a couple of shots of me in Montreal learning my mad laser skills and working on the layouts for the next line of Wooden Wars: Queen Victoria's Robot Wars!

Yours truly playing with lasers! Shark not included.

While the laser cutter does it's magic, I worked on pieces for the next line!

Cheers and as always, you are now part of this crazy project too (guilt by association) - so let me hear from you!
